Dishwasher
Check the maker's instructions for both the base and the lid. "Dishwasher safe" is the maker's description. Some lids are top rack only, some are hand wash only.
Gaskets
Remove silicone gaskets to wash them and the groove underneath, then let both dry fully before refitting.
Stains and residue
Glass tends to resist staining. For stuck residue, soak in warm soapy water and use a non-scratch scrubber. Avoid abrasive pads that could scratch.
Odors
Odors usually live in lids and gaskets. Wash them separately and let them air dry open.
Check for damage
Look for chips and cracks when you wash. Replace damaged glass.
